$ 500.00 Practitioners Scholarship

The scholarship monies is obtained through members' contributions.  This scholarship is awarded to educators to help purchase supplies and /or materials for a unique or special classroom project.  These materials were not provided for in the school budget and the expenses would otherwise be born by the classroom teacher. If there is more than one recipient, the $ 500.00 is distributed among the number of educators chosen.

At the beginning of the school year, applications are sent to all schools in the Carbon County area.  A committee screens the returned applications and the selected recipients are awarded the scholarship at the October meeting of the Carbon County Chapter of PASR.
