Social Service Committee Chairman,  Marjorie Balliet and her Committee make personal visits to Carbon PASR members who are 90 years old plus, hospitalized, in nursing homes, hospitals or are homebound. Special visits are made  on the member's birthday and during the Christmas Season. The committee brings special holiday greetings with a poinsettia plant and to commemorate each one's birthday with a lovely plant.

Carbon County PASR member  Ina Wilhelm of Virginia celebrated her 95th birthday on June 5th. The out-of-state members received a birthday card which included a monetary gift in lieu of flowers to commemorate their special day..
